5 Tips on How to Get Better Grades Brain Power 1) Attend Class First and foremost, attendance is key! A teacher will keep note of when your there and when your not there, and that shows a lot for effort, in the long run you could consider it a possible karma option when trying to woo a teacher into swaying your grade.

2) Study! Seriously I can't stress this enough, studying is what is key to all passing in high school. Everything looks hard on paper, especially if you have no clue what your looking at such as a math equation.

3) Be Attentive We all love to drift off in class, and dream of our teacher getting hit by a plane through the wall, but sometimes we can miss an important part to a lecture or problem.
