Incorporating a Leopard Comforter Into Your Tween or Teen's Bedroom Decor

It used to be that animal prints, especially big cats like leopards, were only found on rich women's coats and the occasional hearth rug.
This is not so true anymore; today, leopard prints are more popular than ever, and they can be found on everything from clothing to notebooks and bedding sets.

While they never really went out of style, now they're popular in a huge way. Girls of all ages especially like animal prints.
Faux leopard skin coats are still trendy, as well as boots, belts, and purses.
Animal patterned shirts and pants are popular, and you can find jewelry, smartphone cases, pens, -- you name it -- using this fashionable theme.
Is this a fad? Hard to say, since animal prints have been popular for a long time.

It's hard to beat nature when coming up with unusual and beautiful patterns and designs.
This style has also carried over into girls' bedding, but in a new way.

While adults have traditionally preferred original colors, like the yellow/orange and black of a leopard's coat, girls and teens tend to go for the brighter colors, so leopard print bedding can be found in almost any color. Pink, purple, lime green, treal blue, and orange are very popular.

Designers have incorporated traditional things girls like into the designs, like hearts, stars, peace signs, and geometrics. There is a lot to choose from. Whether you're updating a little girl's room into a preteen or teen one, or trying to liven up a college dorm room, a leopard skin pattern in cool colors will look fabulous. If you get a comforter set, there will be matching accessories, like shams, so that makes your decorating even easier.
Bright patterns with energy don't necessarily need bright walls; paler colors work just fine with them, as does white. But if you want to paint the walls, you can choose a color from the comforter set and paint one or more walls with it. You can also go a couple tones lighter. There are so many beautiful designs in nature, it's no wonder we love them so much.
They are intricate and amazing. It's fun to experiment with these patterns in our homes and bedrooms, and the variety of colors and themes make it more so.
Having beautiful homes and bedrooms is an important part of reducing stress and giving ourselves a safe, cosy refuge to come home to. Our kids are under stress, too.
So bring a little of the wild into her room, and let her make her own little world in her bedroom.
